Gradual Progress. Like the maiden given in marriage, advancing step by step brings good fortune. Furtherance. The Commentary on the Judgment says: Gradualness means advancing slowly. Thus the maiden's marriage is fortunate. Advancing, she attains her proper place; going forward, she achieves merit. Advancing with rectitude, one may set the kingdom in order, for the place is that of the firm holding the central position. Stillness joined with gentle penetration—movement that knows no exhaustion.
